  The Integrated Support Exospine (ISE) from Emerald Touch Inc is designed to protect soldiers' spine and shoulders while allowing for more efficient breathing, enabling them to last longer, move faster and recover sooner. It is the first load bearing system that enables a full range of motion while providing protection from disc degeneration, facet imbrications, and other injuries caused by repeated heavy lifting.

 

 

The Exospine:

 

  • Is designed to remove 100% of the current Soldier load, bypassing the shoulders and back, placing it on the structures designed to handle the load, the pelvis and legs

 

  • Can be implemented, adjusted, and operated by an individual soldier

 

  • Fully integrates with all Army combat equipment

 

 

 

   Emerald Touch Inc is a recipient of the Tech Fort Worth Impact Your World Award (2010 Community Division) for its work on the Exospine and in pursuit of solving mission/service related injuries.
